| Abstract: | This paper develops a comparison of defensive strategies in a spontanueous context between Italian L1 and L2 speakers, in particular with L2 speakers from China, Iran, Armenia and Belarus.
More accurately it concentrates on the analysis of the pragmatic value of silence and non-reaction as a defensive strategy. |
